Nasturtiums
I painted these theses orange nasturtiums in 2017. They were grown in my garden and the quilted table runner under the vase was sewn by me, using the quick quilt method. The style of artwork was inspired by Soon Y. Warren and her book, Painting Vibrant Watercolors.

Flower from a Neighbor
This beautiful lily was given to me by my neighbor Jessica when I moved to Olympia, Washington in 2014. I was not working yet and did not having a car, so I spent my free time painting this, and it will always remind me of my first days out in a strange new place.

Girl with Roses
This is my first oil painting. This was painted from a page out of Vogue or Glamour. I think this was done in 2006.

Hot Peppers!
Hot peppers from my garden, painted at Du Cret School of Art in Plainfield. Watercolor, 2015.

Flute and Birch Trees
Also, Du Cret School of Art, this was suppose to be for an album cover. I was inspired by the fall leaves and Jethro Tull. Fall of 2015, watercolor.

Sunflower and Morning Glory
I used to grow the Mammoth type of sunflower in my garden. They would grow as tall as the Morning Glory could climb. As long as the deer don't eat them. Watercolor, 2015.

New England Apple Trees
This was taken from a book about New England. I thought about painting this for a long time. I did this one back when I was still using acrylics. Painted in 2004

Lonely Highway
This Oil painting was done from a picture in an old Life magazine. It looked so desolate and remote. I think the caption stated that this was somewhere in Texas. 2008.

Self Portrait
This was for a contest run by Jerry's Artarama. Painted in watercolor in 2016.

Deserted Village
There is a place in the Watchung Mountains called the deserted village. All the old houses still stand and it's really a nice place to take a hike and explore. Watercolor, 2011.

Landscape somewhere in NJ
This is probably one of my first paintings after taking up watercolors again.

Feeling Ducky
This was just for fun. Cute sailor ducky was a nice way to practice my lights and shadows.

Rabbit over Plainfield
This was an assignment at Du Cret School of Art in Plainfield. Anything Steampunk. Painted in watercolor, 2015.

Romantic Birds
Two crows separate but together. They could fly away from each other, but they don't. They just enjoy the setting sun together. Oil, 2009.

Joe Tea
I found Joe Tea at a roadside stand in Flemington, NJ. I have not seen it since. Cosmos from my garden were placed in this make shift vase. Watercolor, 2009.

Girls with Umbrella
The two children in tis picture were from the book, Age of Aquarius. I love anything about the 60's, especially the music and the hippies. Watercolor, 2013.

Seaside Carousel Horse
I used one of my old photos from Seaside to paint this watercolor. I thought that the carousel I took this picture of still existed on the Seaside Boardwalk, but unfortunately I think it was in the arcade that was washed away by Hurricane Sandy in 2012. The arcade also had the old video games of the 80's, so my favorite game, Mr. Do also was lost. Alas! This was painted in 2018.

Like Water for Chocolate
This painting was inspired by the book and movie Like Water for Chocolate. Quail with roses.
